Couple Money Comment Policy
I love reviewing thoughtful comments from readers and I love having a community of knowledgeable and passionate people. With that mix of people, it sometimes can cause a bit of friction.
Some topics within personal finance have several ‘right’ answers and I think sharing different viewpoints can be helpful, so I tend to ask your thoughts on topics.
While we can disagree on some things, I expect the conversation to be civil and productive.
I like to think of my blog as an extension of my home and want to keep a friendly tone. Please remember that I will delete comments that include:
- Bad language or offensive material
- Get rich quick schemes, pyramid marketing schemes, or any other money scams
- Spam comments about your non-related blog
Disclaimer – I’m not a Financial Expert
I get a lot of questions here that ask about how to tackle a money problem. I’m upfront and I’ll let you know that I’m not a financial guru.
While we’ve certainly picked up knowledge and tools that have helped our own finances, please don’t assume that we can automatically fix your money problems.
Everyone has different circumstances, so while I can point you in the direction that I think may be helpful, you really should check to make sure it’s the right move for you.
This blog is just a collection of the tips and life lessons I picked up. Couple Money is not intended to be a source for professional advice.
If you’re looking for professional help with your finances, try using The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) to find a fee based financial planner. They should be able to work with you and your individual financial situation.
