Thank You Party
If you’ve been following my updates on Twitter, you’d know that we’re expecting family and friends tonight at our new place. We’re having a thank you party for everyone that had taken the time to help us. My mother in law made it safely down and my family should be here in about 30 mins or so.
We’re really excited to have everyone over and I’m hoping it’ll be fantastic night! I’ll post up pictures of the place once we settle down this week.
Congrats to Adam and Matt!
It’s been a week of some exciting and happy news for a couple of my blogging buddies.
- Adam Baker from Man Vs Debt has had an incredible week with his new guide, Unautomate Your Finances. I”m a huge fan of ManVsDebt and I love guide; I hope you guys check it out.
- I”m really happy for Matt Jabbs over at Debt Free Adventure, he’s paid off his lending club loan. All he has left are two student loans and mortgages. I wish him the best!
If you don’t know these guys, they are some of the most hardworking personal finance bloggers out there. They really do a great job helping readers tackle debt.
Great Personal Finance Links This Week

- Wealth Pilgrim has some great thoughts on Simple Ideas for a Balanced Life
- Is There Such a Thing as “Good Debt?” asks Fiscal Geek
- 5 Lessons From My Encounter with a Personal Finance Advisor is a great read from Personal Finance Journey
