I am mortgage free too, but only because I don&#039;t have one!! =( *yet* am working on it.

That&#039;s a good idea to use your tax refund to pay the debt down.  It&#039;s so tempting to just splurge it, so kudos to you for resisting the temptation. =)</description>

		<description>@EofW: I agree that you have to look at the big picture when making a decision about your family&#039;s finances. We chose the 30 year option to give us some wiggle room should the need arise, but we&#039;re setting it up to have extra payments made on a monthly basis.</description>
