Each week with the round up, I try to include some of my interests, hobbies, and events that I enjoy that are not personal finance related. I think they give you a better idea of who I am and I hope they make the round-ups a bit more interesting.
This week I wanted to give a shout out to the FIFA World Cup. The World Cup will run from June 11 to July 11, 2010 and I’m planning on catching a few of the games. Honestly I’m a casual soccer fan (rather play than watch), but I’m excited whenever the World Cup comes around.
If you’re not familiar with soccer, there are 32 teams competing for the World Cup. The teams are grouped in fours. Here is how the groups are organized.

Personal Finance Posts I Enjoyed This Week
I had quite a bit of fun reading some posts this week from my fellow bloggers. Getting out of debt can be done, Matt and Jeff have great posts on what works. Kevin’s post on windfalls was a nice reminder to be wise with your spending.
If you have some time to listen, catch Donna Freedman’s interview; she has some great practical advice on making small changes. If you enjoy it, check out her blog over at Surviving and Thriving.
Finally, Kelly has a great guide on getting AT&T (and other companies) to give you great customer service. I hope you enjoy these post as much as I do.
