I’m still around! Even though posts have been coming out slower over the last couple of weeks, I have been busy. I’ve been catching up with some of my older posts, editing and updating them as needed. There have been services and sites that are no longer around, so I’ve been looking for comparable options to share.
I recently got an incredibly helpful email from long time reader, Adam, about some topics he’d like to see covered – especially how couples can live on 1 income and have fun with the second. I’m currently polishing posts to be published this week, so please be on the look out for that.
Favorite Personal Finance Posts This Week
Here are some personal finance posts and more that I’ve enjoyed reading (some of them for a second time!) this past week.
- If You Can’t Live on $40,000 Per Year, It’s Your Own Fault via @LenPenzo -> I know that there are exceptions in certain parts of the country, but I do believe that if you can’t cover your essential expenses with $40k, then you need to go back and evaluate your finances.
- Save Money On Car Insurance: Several Easy Ways To Cut Your Premiums— via @KNSFINANCIAL-> Car insurance is one of those expenses I think couples can optimize. It’s not just about costs, it’s about getting the best value.
- Are You In Debt? Stop The Expensive Vacations! via @DebtRoundUp->Sad, but true when I saw the post title I immediately thought of a conversation I had this past week with someone trying to do exactly that – going on a trip, while in debt with credit cards.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I look forward to hearing from you
