Financial hiccups can wreak havoc on a relationship, so getting on the same page and working on goals together is an investment not only for your bank account, but your marriage.
Sometimes I think that in financial situations, two incomes are better than one. But it’s only beneficial if the couple decides to work together. If only one half is committed to cutting back and reducing costs, whilst the other still spends like crazy, it will fail.
Its difficult when you’ve just got into a marriage and you’re trying to save money especially when you both have different incomes and lifestyles.
