Most people think of bucket list examples as over-the-top, one-off goals to do before you die. Maybe they envision seeing the Northern Lights, skydiving or insert pricey excursions.

Though these types of experiences are enjoyable, it can be hard for the average couple to accomplish these types of goals on a regular basis.

You also shouldn’t have to be force-fed dream list ideas from travel companies that play upon your fear of missing out.

For this reason, I’ve decided to broaden people’s ideas about other simple and economical bucket list items to put on their list.

What is a bucket list example?

A bucket list example is essentially something you include on a list of goals you’d like to accomplish in your lifetime.

Depending on your interests, ideas can range from more mellow activities like hosting a champagne brunch, scrapbooking special memories, and canning tomatoes to a more daring bucket list that includes riding a dune buggy on the beach, a hot air balloon in the sky or a mechanical bull at a restaurant.

What are some simple and affordable bucket list examples for couples?

If you’re someone who would rather accomplish a more achievable bucket list so you can have more fun, more often, consider having price points bucket list dictate your short term goals.

What should everyone’s bucket list include?

Everyone’s bucket list should include their own unique ideas. My bucket list will look different than yours.Though it’s great to look up the most popular ideas for bucket list inspiration, only choose ones that resonate with you.

If you’re looking to be budget-conscious so you can go out more frequently, let your budget dictate your short term goals for spending.

Consider making a bucket list of everyday things to do that strengthens bonds and creates lasting memories.

Think of it as more of a life list where ideas organically evolve as you go while tapping more deeply into your interests. A life list requires more immediate action versus writing a list you might get to one day.

How to Include Bucket List Examples of Everyday Things to Do into Your Schedule

If you’re looking to have a list of goals to do regularly, think about writing out your list and trying out a different one each weekend. You can also pick the activity from the list as you go or plot out when to do what on your calendar in advance.

Creating a date night during the week could work as well. No matter what you decide, this can put your plans on autopilot and take the decision making out of coming up with something special to do at the last minute.

Author E.A. Bucchianeri once said, “Sometimes the simple things are the most meaningful and fun than all the banquets in the world.”

What's on Your Bucket List?
