Lately I've received questions from readers and companies about doing more reviews on the site. There are many financial services, products, and sites out right now. My husband and I use some of them to help organize and build finances such as ING Direct, Mint, and Lynda.com.

One of my goals is to maintain the resourcefulness of Couple Money for my readers, while introducing them to sites, products, and services which may be of interest to them. However with the amount that's out there to include reviews for all in a way drown out the main focus of this site.

My Financial Reviews

After thinking about how to address this and talking to my husband, I decided to start a spin-off site of sorts called My Financial Reviews. I feel like this is the best way to address both needs. Couple Money will remain focused on the topic of couples, family, and finances while My Financial Reviews will host reviews about financial services, products, and sites that could be helpful to both Couple Money readers and others looking to improve their finances.

As I mention different services I'll include links to the MFR posts so you can get more information if you wanted to or you can stay here on the site and focus on specific tactics to increase your family's net worth. I want to create a useful and helpful experience.

In the same line of thought, I'm starting a Question of the Week section on Couple Money. This week's question is about finding out what's your #1 financial obstacle right now. I want to provide timely information for couples and families and the best way to do that is having you share what's on your mind.

If you have any suggestions for future topics here on Couple Money or reviews for My Financial Reviews, please go ahead and email me. Thank you again for taking time out of your day to talk about finances and share your viewpoints.

Couple Money Around the Web

Besides writing here on Couple Money I contribute at other sites as well:

I also had an interview this for the Best of the Best Blogger series. I enjoyed during the interview and sharing some thoughts on couples working together on their finances.
